Lee Duggans, Jr. was born in Columbus, Mississippi, on June 30, 1965 (45 years
old) to Mr. Jimmie Lee Duggans Sr. (deceased) and Ms. Marcia Hollinshed.
He is the eldest of 5 children having 3 sisters and one brother.
He is currently not married and resides in
Clarksville, Tennessee.
Upon completion of high school, Pastor Duggans entered the United States Air Force at the age of 17 and served his country honorably for 9 years. While in the military, he was awarded the USAF Achievement medal, and he was also a recipient of the Outstanding Young Men of America award in 1992. Following an honorable discharge, Pastor Duggans went on to pursue his degree in Physical Therapy in San Antonio, Texas. It was there that GOD revealed His plan for his life, and Pastor Duggans transitioned from healing bodies to healing souls. He then went on to receive his Bachelor’s degree in Theology from Christian Bible College and Seminar. Pastor Duggans has completed the requirements for his Masters and Doctorate in Ministry from Friends International Christian University, and is awaiting degree conferment.
Pastor Duggans was baptized in Columbus, Mississippi, at the age of 8. He went on to preach his first sermon at the age of 10. He was ordained in February 2002, in San Antonio, Texas, and served as Senior Pastor at the 10th Avenue Church of Christ from 2002-2004. He currently serves the Lord as Pastor of the Mount Zion MB Church of Clarksville, Tennessee. (Round Pond)
Pastor Duggans has just completed his Doctoral dissertation entitled Faith and Fitness After 40, this work, scheduled to be released as a book soon, focuses on the spiritual and practical healing made available through the gospel. Besides this, he is also the founder of In Jesus Name (IJN) ministries. The ministry’s core theme is Faith and Empowerment. IJN ministries will minister to Christ believers of all races, but it will focus on those whom have suffered misfortunes in life. The initial emphasis is to discover who we are in CHRIST JESUS by word study, and acting upon who GOD says we are. Another part of the ministry is to provide for the less fortunate and those whom Jesus held in high regard: the Hungry, Homeless, Sick and Imprisoned, etc. (Matthew 25:31-46; James 1:27)
Pastor Duggans has preached the gospel in Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Texas and oversees in Montego Bay, Jamaica. He is also scheduled to minister in Kisumu, Kenya in September 2011.
